Father Daughter Dance

February 4, 2009 at 4:56 pm 10 comments

Our kids’ school is having a Father Daughter Dance as a fund raiser February 20th.

Today Sergei purchased three tickets for him and Lainie and Zoya.

On the way to school this morning Zoya sheepishly told him that she wasn’t interested in going to the dance.

“Why” he asked.

To which she replied, “I don’t want you to do your dance moves.”

Once he assured her that there would only be slow dancing, she agreed to be his date.

That is too funny! My mom chaperoned my 7th grade dance…mortifying! She was doing some karate chop type move to Billy Idol’s “Mony Mony” in the back of the room in plain sight.

Good for her for being so honest! Now, you need to post video of some of those dance moves…we want to see what all the fuss is about! Very cute story, thanks for sharing, I needed a laugh.

I thought the girls looked beautiful. I am glad Polly did well after her surgery. I called you on Friday. We are thinking of all of you.

Love Aunt Connie and Uncle Richard
