Waiting with wings

Well, we are home and we are waiting…waiting to see what is going to happen.  And we are praying…asking God to keep Polly stroke and seizure free until her surgeries in a few weeks.

I’m tickling the kids, taking them for walks, prepping for Evie’s birthday, snapping cute pictures, trying not to gasp too loudly when Polly wobbles or falls down.  You know, normal stuff.

What else can we do…but wait and pray…and live?

Best wishes for your little ones health. It is such a coincidence that this all happened last Sunday near Michigan City. I was very upset over a recent diagnosis of a heart arrhythmia and the uncertainty it had brought to my life. I was driving near New Buffalo, MI (near Michigan City, IN) and in tears. I though looked around at the beauty of the world and felt a wonderful calm come over me.

Meanwhile, you were probably down the road, praying for your child’s life. I can’t imagine the fear and emotions you had. God must have been with us that day. You were able to make it to Chicago and your family’s helping arms, and to great medical care. May all your prayers be answered..

Sweet, sweet, precious girl! I’m keeping her in my prayers. Hope all is otherwise well, with your crew, Ukraine. I’ve kept you in my reader, and have kept up with all of the goings-on from a far. 🙂

Been very busy with #3 around here! 🙂
